Welcome to ShapeEd! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ShapeEd platform, services, and content (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

ShapeEd provides AI-assisted adaptations for educational assignments. All modifications and suggestions generated by our Service should be reviewed for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with local curriculum standards prior to classroom use. ShapeEd does not replace professional judgment or legal obligations of educators.

4. User Accounts

• Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep this information up-to-date.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities under your account. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use ShapeEd for any unlawful or harmful purposes, including:

• Posting or transmitting offensive, defamatory, or fraudulent content
• Infringing on intellectual property or privacy rights
• Attempting to breach or circumvent our security measures

6. Intellectual Property

The ShapeEd name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ShapeEd or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission. All educational content you upload remains your property, but you grant ShapeEd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and display it for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SHAPEED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE AVAILABLE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAPEED AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShapeEd, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ShapeEd is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiations, and if not resolved, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
